Remember how last week we were talking about how to learn (to love) math? I forgot about khan academy. It's a collection of free online videos explaining math concepts. Some charter schools have been using it as a self-guided way for kids to learn math. I first hear about this on MPR. Anyway, I'm starting in the brain teasers section. There are a ton of interesting topics. I'm probably going to lose the next month of my life to this.

We closed on the house yesterday! So we're in the throes of painting, etc. today. By next Wednesday I will need a break, I'm sure. See you then!
What's the point of being in school if I can't procrastinate on homework by coming to knitting?
