Homework

1. Find instructions for homemade yarn swift. My dad is pretty good at the wood work, so the instructions can be complicated.

2. Find yarn for Jen's union jack sweater. I don't remember the brand name... Anyone? Anyway, lets find a cheaper substitute.

Here's a post about a lego ball winder and a homemade umbrella swift.

This is the simpler one that Josh and I made

Weekend Knitting is the book with the daisy washcloth in it. I have yet to find a pattern on the internet.

That book is fantastic. I can't believe I haven't bought it.

Here's some knitted flower patterns that (with some light modifications) could be the flower washcloth.

Thanks ladies for the alternative yarns! I'm actually thinking a light cotton would be nice too. Mohair might be too much of a pain in the butt to wear, let alone KNIT.
